FINITE ELEMENT METHOD ANALYSIS OF THICKNESS OF PLATES
Journal Title: International Journal of Mechanical and Production Engineering Research and Development (IJMPERD ) - Year 2018, Vol 8, Issue 3
Abstract
The advance in the improvement of using structural components for the aerospace structure is essential and their importance in the fields of engineering especially in the construction of bridges, floor panels and in the field of the aeronautical domain in the design of the wings and sheet panels. The main objective here is to find the optimum design thickness of the plates. Initially, the optimized selection of the material is chosen and then thickness analysis is carried using the numerical analysis. The results obtained are validated with optimized Computational results. Finally coming out with the improvised live load carrying capacity of the material.
Energy, Exergy and Parametric Analysis of a New Cogeneration System Including the Brayton and Ammonia–Water Rankine Combined Cycle
Efficient consumption of energy resources and minimizing relevant costs are both substantial issues that not only don’t fade into insignificance by time but also have turned out to be essential concerns due to energy cri...
The Numerical Analysis of Marine-Ship Propeller
In this paper, numerical simulationwas done to decide the hydrodynamic qualities in a cavitatingviscous stream of the standard INSEAN E779A in single and couple propeller arrangement utilizing cavitation show executed in...
CFD Analysis of Hydrodynamic Studies of a Bubbling Fluidized Bed
Fluidization velocity is one of the significant parameter to characterize the hydrodynamic studies of fluidized bed as it determines different flow regimes. Computational Fluid Dynamics simulations are carried for a cyli...
Stress Analysis of High Speed Four Bar Mechanism
The multi-body four bar mechanical system is an rigid links assemblage of assumed revolute joints and crank rotating motion for complete cycle, the links which produce relative motion. In higher speed mechanisms the assu...
Experimental Analysis of Heat Transfer and Friction Factor in a Roughened Solar Air Heater using Staggered Inclined Discrete Rib Arrangement
The solar air conditioner (SAH) utilizes barbell roughness to improve heat transfer. Experimental evaluations are complete on friction factor and the heat transfer in the retina, and this is sometimes roughened from the...
