Fizjoterapia po operacyjnym leczeniu guza śródrdzeniowego - opis przypadku

Abstract
Rehabilitation procedure in patients following the surgical treatment of spinal cord tumour should be tailored individually to each patient, taking into account their disability, the advancement of the underlying condition, prognosis, functional disorders of systems other than the motor one, patient’s age and their emotional state and commitment to the therapy. Apart from surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy and hormone therapy, broadly defined physiotherapy, including measures positively affecting patients’ psychic and physical condition, should be introduced into a comprehensive treatment of spinal cord neoplasms.
