FOLK SONGS OF KYIV AREA IN NOTE SHEET MUSIC

Abstract
The article presents the periodization of folklore songs of Kyiv area (Kyivshchyna). The main ones were analyzed as for the reason of their arrangement and methodological approaches. The level and the importance of published folklore materials are given according to their connection with different forms of derivative execution. The author concentrates upon the perspective of folklore performance in the process of Kyiv area’s song traditions revival, pays special attention to the importance of complex document records of Kyiv’s musical folklore and its representation in geography-specific and genre styles and dialect forms.
