Abstract
This article reviews one of the most important noble houses in Cehegín during the first half of the 20th century, the Asturian house of Pidal, from political, economic and matrimonial aspects. In addition, other illustrious figures from the public life of the town are represented, such as the Marquis of Bondad Real or Vicente Beltrán de Lis Gurowski Derret y Borbón.
