Formação empreendedora e atuação profissional: contribuições de escolas SEBRAE – Minas Gerais

Abstract

Organizations now demand increasingly skilled professionals to serve a rapidly changing and floating market. The Micro and Small Business Support Service (SEBRAE) prioritized educational actions aimed at training young entrepreneurs with managerial skills to meet such demand. This study investigated the contributions of the entrepreneurial training in the professional activity of the graduates from SEBRAE Management Training Schools in Minas Gerais, Brazil. A quantitative descriptive study was carried out with 221 graduates selected through a non-probability sampling by accessibility. The results showed that the proposed management training contributes positively to the professional activity of the graduates. 92% evaluated SEBRAE Management Training Course as “Excellent or Good”, 95% did not regret having taken the course, 80% considered their development during the course as “Excellent or Good”, and 78% rated the course’s contribution to their current professional background as “Excellent or Good”.
