FORMING THE VISUAL THINKING OF THE TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY STUDENTS AT THE TRAINING OF MATHEMATICS

Abstract
In the article various approaches to formation of visual thinking of students of the technical university at training to the mathematician are considered. Problems and unresolved issues in the formation of visual thinking are identified. Didactic features of formation of visual thinking of students of the technical university in teaching mathematics are formulated. It is shown that teaching mathematics provides ample opportunities for forming visual thinking of students, which is a part of professional technical thinking of future engineers. The formation of visual thinking of the students in the teaching of mathematical disciplines occurs in the process of mastering them the learning activities performed with objects specified in a graphic form using visualization techniques. The typology of skills to perform such actions, called visual-graphic skills, allowed to develop a system of tasks aimed at both forming and diagnosing the level of their formation with the aim of correcting it.
