HEURISTICS OF SUPPLEMENTING MATHEMATICAL TEXTS IN THE NATIVE LANGUAGE WITH TEXTS IN FOREIGN LANGUAGES: THE GROUNDS AND PROVIDING OF APPROACH IN MATH CLASSES

Abstract
The article deals with heuristic methods in mathematical development. As the title implies the article describes a new approach designed for insight in math texts in foreign languages. It is designed for a broader view of the intra-subject connections in mathematics. From the point of view of the authors, difficulties of the grammatical structure of any language are not an obstacle to understanding the mathematical text. Reading mathematical texts in a non-native language is an important element of developing learning mathematics. This heuristic method forms and develops cognitive independence, activity, interest, world outlook and culture of mathematical thinking. It is specially noted that clichés and symbolism of mathematical texts unite all natural languages. The article is of interest to creative teachers who are ready to overcome the barriers of misunderstanding and to help students. The success of the approach depends largely on the personal characteristics of the teacher. The text gives a valuable information on the methodology for implementing this approach in the work of students. The difference between the reading texts on a specialty in a foreign language and working with reading math texts in any foreign languages should be stressed. It is formulated that this nudge heuristics develops of conditions for lifelong language learning. Attention is drawn to that positive reinforcement and indirect suggestions for this heuristic approach more effectively than direct instruction.
