Abstract
The article clarifies the content of the forms of administrative and legal protection of intellectual property rights in the field of scientific activity. The author identifies the following forms of administrative and legal protection of intellectual property rights in the field of scientific activity as preventive, which are aimed at preventing violations of intellectual property rights in the field of scientific activity, protective ones that are used in case of detection of a committed violation of intellectual property rights in the field of scientific activity, auxiliary, and their characterization has been made.
