ФОРМУВАННЯ ПОЗИТИВНОГО ІСТОРИЧНОГО МИСЛЕННЯ: РОЛЬ МУЗЕЇВ ВИЩИХ НАВЧАЛЬНИХ ЗАКЛАДІВ

Abstract

The article deals with the role and importance of museums in Ukrainian higher educational establishments while developing positive historic way of thinking among student youth. In modern conditions of quick changes in the society, transformations of educational field, the important task of our country liesin the fact that young generation should be developed to be worthy of their motherland. The process of developing a responsible, free person with high moral values, is complex and multilayered. To implement and put this process into practice, the nation-wide Conception of youth’s national and patriotic development has been construed. In this regard, the author has hereby stated the main tasks of modern museums as important participants of teaching and learning activities, from the point of view of the nation-wide development strategy of culture, science, education. Moreover, the main functions of museums of higher educational establishments and the experience of Kharkiv University of Humanities ‘People’s Ukrainian Academy’ have been determined, enabling students to develop their view of life and promoting the youth to be educated in high moralstandards. The author concludes that museums in higher educational establishments have a positive developmental impact on young generations’ personality formation
