Abstract
In this article theoretical aspects of the study of the psychology of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder in children are presented, and an analysis of the various approaches to treating this problem in foreign and domestic studies is presented.And also in the article the urgency of this problem is determined, key concepts of the problem of hyperactivity are highlighted and outlined, various points of view on the nature of the onset of hyperactivity in children are presented, and a characteristic of the hyperactive child is given. The article outlines the problem of research, which consists in increasing the number of children with hyperactivity. The causes of the onset of hyperactivity in children are singled out: the cause of their behavioral disturbances is the imbalance of the processes of excitation and inhibition in the child’s nervous system; minimal brain dysfunction, that is, a multitude of microdamages of the brain structures that arise during the birth and development of the child.
