GENERAL CHARACTERISTIC OF CRIMINAL LAW PROTECTION OF CULTURAL PROPERTY IN ITALIAN REPUBLIC

Abstract
The article examines the basics of criminal law protection of cultural property in Italy. The provisions of the Italian legislation criminalizing the encroachments on cultural property are analyzed. The article focuses on the coverage of the system of criminal offenses against cultural property and the investigation of material subject of these offences.
