GENESIS OF THE RIGHT TO LIFE AS THE PEREMPTORY NORM OF INTERNATIONAL LAW

Abstract
The article is devoted to highlighting of the issue of origin, recognition and development of the right to life as the norm of peremptory character throughout the history of mankind as the national and international levels. Mechanisms of protecting the right to life, their advantages and disadvantages in different stages of human development from the ancient period to the present time were analyzed and compared by the author.
