ГІПОГЛІКЕМІЧНІ ВЛАСТИВОСТІ АМІНОКИСЛОТНИХ СПОЛУК ХРОМУ(ІІІ)

Abstract

The coordination complex of chroium (III) with bidentate coordinated cysteine [Cr(HCys)3]×3H2O has been synthesized. According to the IR spectra results, the coordination of the amino acid takes place throught the carboxyl group oxygen and amino group nitrogen: 3070 сm-1 and 3190 сm-1 (ν(NH2)); 496 сm-1 (ν(Cr-N)); 1612 сm-1 (νas(COO-)); 1370 сm-1(νs(COO-)); 570 сm-1 (ν(Cr-O). The gipoglikemichecal activity and toxic properties of chromium (III) and cysteine compound have been studied. It was established, that the intracavitary injection of 1 mg/kg dose oftris-hidrotsisteynat chromium (ІІІ) in white mice, decreased the level of glucose in their blood by 45 %. The [Cr(HCys)3]×3H2O complex reduces glucose better than other chormium (III) - amino acids compounds. The complex tris-hidrotsisteynat chromium (ІІІ) is easily synthesized, has a pH value of 4,8 – 5. Indicator LD50 was calculated and is 2568 mg/kg. The compound of chromium (III) with cysteine is slightly toxic and belongs to grade IV toxicity. The toxicity index of the amino acid complexes of chromium (III) varies in the series of compounds [Сr(HСys)3]×H2O > [Сr2(Nik)2(OH)4]×4H2O @ [Сr(Gly)3]×H2O > [СrАsp(ММSCl)2 and is substantially lower than that of inorganic chromium (III) salts.
