Hermeneutics in the age of Homo-Digital
Journal Title: Social Innova Sciences - Year 2019, Vol 1, Issue 1
Abstract
The development of a Digital Paradigm is linked to the relationship between technological advances and telecommunications, and is changing the social structure, human behavior, as well as the modes of communication, reception and processing of information. Humanity is in the Stone Age of Homo-Digital , it is not yet known definitively and decisively where the use of technology on a large scale will lead, evolution in Darwinian termsit occurs more slowly, but the dynamics in social changes is practically immediate, which makes it difficult to monitor and study. Given all these changes in communication and language in contemporary societies, academic interest in hermeneutics as a methodology for the study of Human Sciences has been lost. This is how, following the line of Capurro (2010), hermeneutics is understood as a methodological practice of the Human Sciences that allows interpreting and understanding digital processes.
