Abstract
Hepaticherniationthroughanabdominalincisionalherniaisanextremelyrarephenomenonthathasbeenreportedinthemedicalliteratureinfewcasereports.ItisassociatedwithcomplicationssuchashepaticencephalopathyandBudd-Chiarisyndrome.Mostcasescanbemanagedconservativelythroughobservation,butmanycasesrequiresurgicalinterventiontopreserveliverfunction.Ourcaseisa61-year-oldfemalewhopresentedwithherniationofthelefthepaticlobethroughanabdominalincisionalherniawhichwasmanagedsurgically.
