Abstract
The cerebral stroke constitutes the second, following myocardial infraction, cause of death in the world. The patient’s struggling with numerous ailments, pretty often the life-threatening ones, results in marginalization of their needs in terms of dental needs. Nonetheless, the dental hygiene should be perceived as a significant constituent of thesecondary prevention of cerebral stroke. This paper aims to focus on the issue ofhygiene and dental care of oral cavityin case of patients who underwent cerebral stroke and are still staying in hospital.
