Abstract
The legal and regulatory framework of the Hetman's times in the regulation of water use is analyzed. Legally regulated current directions of state water policy are outlined. The circle of responsible persons for its formation and realization is defined. The factors that reduced the effectiveness of the implementation of the state policy being researched are formulated.
