HISTORY OF THE EMERGENCE OF VOLLEYBALL IN THE MYKOLAIV REGION

Abstract
The main questions of the formation of volleyball in the Nikolaev oblast were discussed in the article. The mentions of volleyball tournaments, that were held in that years and their results were described and synthesized. This investigation represents outstanding coaches, who made a great contribution to the development of volleyball not only in Nikolaev, but also in Ukraine and at the territo-ry of post–Soviet land. It is confirmed by successful participation in numerous games, which were mentioned in periodicals of that time. The historical facts which were collected by the authours can be used by students and teachers at high educational institutions while studying the subjects of Physical Education’s History and Sport, and also for deeper researches devoted to particular sports-men and coaches who made a considerable contribution to the formation and development of the volleyball’s history
