HOME READING AS A DEVELOPING THE LINGUISTIC COMPETENCE OF THE STUDENT-TRANSLATOR

Abstract
The article is devoted to the peculiarities of classes on home reading, its purpose and functions are highlighted. Pre-textual and after-textual exercises are considered, their features and significance. There are given examples of exercises that will be interesting for students and are useful for developing speech competence. There are written also themes and type of the tasks for increasing the effectiveness of the lessons.
