HOUSEHOLDS’ CLASSIFICATION IN UKRAINE

Abstract
The genesis of households’ classification in Ukraine is investigated. The main shortcomings of the existing typology in the context of compliance to the standard requirements of Eurostat are defined. Distribution of rural households and private farm holdings to classes of the abandoned, consumer (natural), semi-commodity and commodity households is proved; the corresponding economic borders of these classes are established.
