HUTSUL DIALECT IN THE LIUBA-PARASKEVIIA STRYNADIUK’S STORY ‘VYVCHERYKY. STORY FROM POLONYNA FOR CHILDREN AND THEIR PARENTS’

Abstract
The article analyzes the Hutsul dialectal features in the Liuba-Paraskeviia Strynadiuk’s story ‘Vyvcheryky. Story from Polonyna for Children and Their Parents’. It is testified that the characters’ and the author’ language differs in the completeness of the Hutsul dialectal features representation. In the characters’ language, the phonetic, morphological and lexical peculiarities of the Hutsul dialect are fully and consistently represented. The author’s language is literary with the interspersed lexical hutsulisms in it. The phonetic and morphological dialectal phenomena found in the story are described; the semantics and features of the lexical dialecticisms usage are examined.
