Immune response and intervention strategies of SARS-CoV-2 infection
Journal Title: Journal of Air Force Medical University - Year 2023, Vol 44, Issue 7
Abstract
Emerging viral pathogen infection has a significant impact on global public health security, social and economic development, and human life and health. Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) causes fever, headache, muscle pain and other common symptoms. In severe cases, patients suffer from respiratory failure and multiple organ dysfunction, which may endanger their lives. In this paper, we summarize the mechanism of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 ( SARS-CoV-2 ) infection and the regulation mode of viral immune response and intervention strategies, analyze the relationship between SARS-CoV-2 infection and immunomodulation, and discuss the intervention strategies of COVID-19 based on the two aspects of suppressing viral infection and cytokine storm, so as to provide guidance and suggestions for the treatment of patients with severe infection.

Research progress of repetitive peripheral magnetic stimulation in the treatment of non-specific low back pain
Repetitive peripheral magnetic stimulation (rPMS) is a non-invasive and painless therapeutic technique which has a significant advantage of precise target. Recent studies have found that rPMS has a good therapeutic effe...
Cannabinoid receptor agonist ACEA promotes myelin recovery after spinal cord injury by regulating IL-33
Objective To investigate the protective effect of activating cannabinoid type 1 receptor (CB1R) agonist ACEA in promoting myelin recovery after spinal cord injury (SCI) in mice, and to clarify the role of interleukin-33...
Lead-induced oxidative stress and copper overload in neural stem cells in vitro and the protective effects of MitoQ
Objective To study the effects of lead ion (Pb2 + ) exposure on oxidative stress and copper overload in neural stem cells (NSC), and to explore the antioxidative protection of MitoQ. Methods C17. 2 neural stem cells wer...
Development and challenges of neuro-stimulus fusion to consciousness
The research of neuro-stimulus fusion to consciousness (NSFC) has gone through eight years. It does not abandon psychological measurement, one of the traditional methods of consciousness research, but gives new life to...
