IMPLEMENTATION OF STRUCTURAL MODERNIZATION IN THE COUNTRIES OF EU

Abstract
In the course of the research, the abstract and logical method was used to study the theoretical foundations of and scientific approaches to the introduction of structural modernization in the EU. Particular attention was paid to the modernization of the agrarian and industrial sectors, fiscal policy, social programs and innovations. The research objective is to analyze the trends and mechanisms of structural modernization in the countries of the European Union. The author analyzes the introduction of structural modernization in the EU countries. In particular, modern tools and mechanisms of regulation of the common agricultural policy have been explored, the main directions of the Financial Perspective for 2015-2018 have been grounded towards implementation of the program objectives of the Common Agrarian Policy (CAP), as well as the rural development program has been analyzed. The problems of transition of the leading countries to the post-industrial stage are analyzed. The concept of sustainable industrial development is considered. The new role of the EU industrial policy as an integral part of the global development strategy was explored, the main directions of its modernization were determined. The changes in the fiscal policy of the EU countries aimed at ensuring the sustainability of public finances and supporting economic growth have been studied. New approaches to the regulation and coordination of public finance management of the member states by the EU are identified. The issue of applying austerity policy to solve fiscal consolidation tasks is covered. The main mechanisms of implementation of social and innovation policy in the EU countries are investigated.
