INFILTRATION OF PRACTICE-ORIENTED APPROACHES IN QUALITATIVE MEDIA RESEARCH

Abstract
The article is devoted to analysis of the adaptation of the practice-oriented approaches in the field of contemporary media research. The stages of the audience qualitative research with their reorientation from text-centric approaches to models of everyday media usage are considered. The previous experience of ethnography of media audiences and media anthropology contributes to the adaptation of contemporary practice-oriented approaches in the field of media studies. Тhe formation of a new segment of practice-oriented qualitative media research in everyday life at the junction of sociology, cultural studies, cultural anthropology is revealed.
