INFLATION TARGETING AS A STRATEGY OF MONETARY POLICY: FOREIGN AND DOMESTIC EXPERIENCE

Abstract
In the article analyzed the economic essence of inflation targeting and substantiated the advantages and disadvantages of its application. The analysis of the efficiency of inflation targeting in Ukraine in 2016 had been analyzed. The experience of other countries with the introduction of inflation targeting had been analyzed, recommendations on the implementation of successful measures in Ukraine had been developed, and the positive effects from the use of inflation targeting had been identified.
