INFLUENCE OF THE JAZZ ORCHESTRA COMPOSITION ON THE SPECIFICITY OF THE EXECUTIVE REPEATHER OF THE SWING ERA

Abstract
The article outlines the socio-cultural conditions for the formation of a great jazz orchestra – the big band of the era of swing. One of the key factors driving the transition from jazz-bands to big bands is the growing popularity of jazz and the active development of its infrastructure – the distribution of sound recordings, the improvement of the tools, the activation of the dance movement. The peculiarities of the influence of the performing composition on the formation of the repertoire are singled out. The specifics of the arrangements, the features of improvisations were due to the genre area chosen by the leaders of the big band. The development of contemporary pop and jazz performances is based on the achievements laid down by the prominent representatives of the swing era.
