INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES IN UKRAINIAN EDUCATION: WAYS OF THE WORLD EXPERIENCE IMPLEMENTATION

Abstract
Purpose. To study the process of informatization of education in Ukraine as an integral part of the world process of introducing information technologies into education. Methodology. The main methods used are analysis, systematization and generalization. Finding. It was found that the level of education informatization correlates with the Information and Communication Technologies Development Index (ICT Development Index). Ways through which different countries of the world transform education in order to implement information and communication technologies are traced. The achievements of the Asian countries, which are currently ahead of Europe and the USA, are researched. The attention was paid to the education of South Korea, which in 2017 was recognized as the leader in the development of information and computer technology. The necessity of conceptual re-thinking of approaches to the organization of educational process in Ukraine taking into account the experience of other countries is emphasized. It is noted that the use of information systems and software requires a substantial revision of the training content. The combination of education and technology is considered a key element of human progress. Originality. The analysis and comprehension of the experience of foreign countries, which occupy different positions in the rating of ICT implementation, conducted in the paper, allow us to construct the trajectory of informatization of Ukrainian education. The huge number of changes taking place in information and communication technologies, together with changes in methodology and learning methods, indicates that it is an educational institution that can be revised at an organizational level. Practical value. Submissions may be used in the process of education informatization. Conclusions. In order to improve its position in the ICT development ranking, Ukrainian educators need to change approaches to organizing the educational process, taking into account the experience of other countries of the world. The solution to the problem of the combination of information technologies with others, including traditional forms and methods of training, is also relevant.
