Abstract

Introduction and purpose of the study. The article is devoted to the actual problem – the search for innovative approaches to attracting pupils to motor activity. Hypothesis. It is anticipated that the use of innovative approaches aimed at creating a sustainable interest and motivation for physical education and sports will contribute to attracting the younger generation to physical education. The purpose is to scientifically substantiate the organizational and methodical aspects of the application of innovative approaches aimed at forming motivation to engage in physical education and sports in order to attract pupils and students to different forms of physical culture and recreation activities. Materials and methods of research. The research was conducted during the 2017/2018 academic year at the Prydnipro State Academy of Physical Culture and Sports, secondary schools № 21, 75 of Dnipro city. The study was attended by 138 students of the Prydnipro State Academy of Physical Culture and Sports, 185 pupils, of which 76 – junior, 56 – secondary, 53 – senior school age. Results. The organizational-methodical aspects of the features of the introduction of quests, flash mobs and battles in various forms of physical culture and recreation classes, namely the conditions of implementation, the definition of content (tasks, stages, means and methods), peculiarities of participants’ activity and teacher training, are revealed. An interview with senior age students showed that 86% of children believe that the quest’s lessons are interesting, emotional, the quest’s mission gives them the opportunity to realize their physical and psychological qualities, 73% determine the tasks of the quest brings students together, and collective decisions form collectivism. 92% of students really liked the flashmob, received an emotional satisfaction of 87%, would like to participate in such a event 89%. Battels are a very effective method for attracting children to physical education, as 71.8% believe that participation in the battles makes it possible for success, and 56.4% – indicated that the use of bats in various forms of physical culture and recreation classes contributes to the formation of interest and popularization different kinds of sports.
