Abstract
The “Revista del Jardín Botánico Nacional” is an annual scientific journal; it is the official organ of the Cuban Society of Botany and of the National Network of Botanical Gardens of Cuba. The aim of the journal is to disseminate the national and foreign scientific work results in the fields of Botany, Phycology and Mycology, as well as to disclose the activities carried out by the members of the Cuban Society of Botany and of the National Network of Botanical Gardens of Cuba. The journal publishes original articles, review articles, identification keys, special communications, short communications, other communications and bibliographical reviews, in Spanish and English, which are together in the Editorial Section and in the Thematic Sections. The Thematic Sections are established according to the theme: Systematics and Taxonomy, Flora and Vegetation, Ecology and Conservation, Morphology and Anatomy, Physiology and Biotechnology, Genetics and Molecular Biology, Mycology, Phycology, Phytoresources, History of Botany, Ethnobotany, Lists of Species, Expedition Reports, Botanical Collections and Botanical Gardens.
