Abstract
Corporate social responsibility (CSR) has become more important regardless of a form and an object of the activity of contemporary enterprises. This article aims to identify relations between the human capital of an insurance company, that is, knowledge and skills of an insurance agent, and the social responsibility concept. The authors depict the core of CSR based on selected aspects of an insurance company’s social responsibility. The paper outlines also a competence profile of an insurance agent.
