Integration of Network Coding Techniques in Future Internet Architectures
Journal Title: Acta Technica Napocensis- Electronica-Telecomunicatii (Electronics and Telecommunications) - Year 2012, Vol 53, Issue 1
Abstract
The paper introduces several new methods and experimental results on the integration of Network Coding techniques into the architectures proposed for the future Internet. Also, there are shortly presented some of the main research initiatives proposing the design of future Internet architectures and the concepts developed. Particularly, the paper analyzes how Network Coding can be integrated into service centric and role based architectures and proposes a solution for integration of XOR based coding into the Generic Path framework. It is shown that the coded transmissions are not always beneficial and therefore adaptive activation of Network Coding is required according to the communication context and network parameters

Characterization Of Small Cells Networks Deployment Options And Their Impact Upon Macro-Cellular Networks
This paper investigates the effect of small cells networks deployment in a typical traditional macro-cellular mobile communications network. The main deployment options are presented and their impact is shown for the cas...
A Novel Preamble Design For Channel Estimation In MIMO-OFDM Systems Resulting In Enhanced Throughput
Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) system combined with orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) provides a reliable solution for enhanced data rate next generation wireless systems as MIMO produces additiona...
An Experimental Analysis Of Signal Reflections On Printed Circuit Board Transmission Lines
Signal reflections for several digital integrated circuit families are experimentally analyzed by using high-speed time domain measurements. Four test setups are designed and fabricated - the interconnect lines have diff...
TLS Protocol: Secure Protocol With Client Puzzles
Client puzzles are commonly proposed as a solution to denial-of-service attacks. We analyzed the TLS protocol and implement Client Puzzles algorithm. We pursued the following objectives: analyze TLS handshake protocol...
The Role of Programmable Digital Signal Processors (DSP) for 3G Mobile Communication Systems
This paper illustrated the role of Digital Signal Processors (DSP) for third generation mobile systems. The currently deployed wireless infrastructure supports the third generation of mobile communications comprised of m...
