Integration Strategy of Ground Auxiliary Buildings in Shenzhen Dayun Comprehensive Transportation Hub Based on Integrated Design Concept

Journal Title: Urban Mass Transit - Year 2024, Vol 27, Issue 9

Abstract

Objective The ground auxiliary buildings in large-scale urban comprehensive transportation hub are numerous and scattered. Some of them are extremely discordant with the surrounding environment due to the restriction of the ground conditions. Therefore, the design of urban comprehensive transportation hub should focus on the integration, hidden danger elimination and coordinated strategies of the ground auxiliary building with the environment. Method Taking Shenzhen Dayun comprehensive transportation hub project as an example, the strategies of the integration and hidden danger elimination for ground auxiliary buildings in rail transit hub are discussed on the basis of the integrated design concept and comprehensive consideration from planning, function and landscape aspects. Result & Conclusion In the design of Shenzhen Dayun Comprehensive Transportation Hub project, the design ideas of integration, hidden danger elimination and blending into the surroundings for the ground auxiliary buildings are put forward. Specific strategies include setting sunken squares, integrating on-the-ground and underground auxiliary buildings, combining with surrounding buildings, and blending into the urban environment through landscape design. Through functional space integration and landscape planning, the ground space of the hub with smooth and convenient routes, and neat and orderly city facade is created.
