Interactive learning technologies as motivation for learning a foreign language (cooperative learning)

Abstract
The pedagogical practice demands the formation of quite simple and in the meantime maximally multi-purpose professional progress of students during the English lessons. In the given article the characteristics of using the interactive learning technologies are considered such as the motivation to learn a foreign language. The usage of interactive technologies in learning the foreign language is justified. The introduction of interactive teaching methods increases the students’ attention and allows maximizing time in practicing language during the lessons. It is also necessary to use cooperative learning in teaching foreign languages at universities. The examples of using the cooperative learning in teaching separate topics of the foreign language are given. In the course of the cooperative learning a teacher becomes a planner of independent, educational, communicative and creative activities for students.
