Interactive technology and the correction of the reader’s activity of mentally retarded pupils at literature lessons

Abstract

The article considers the problem of learning the literature on mentally retarded pupils from the point of view of application of interactive technologies to correct the inherent disciples of impaired mental and physical development that negatively affects the understanding and interpretation of the information received in the process of working with art and scientific-cognitive literature works. The analysis of general and special literature on the problem are under consideration. It is noted that the literature lessons using interactive training provide adequate perception and understanding of mentally retarded students read the essence of the work and its adequate interpretation. The necessity of using the interactive learning of all types of lessons, the types and forms of interactive study, acquisition of mentally retarded pupils most effectively contribute to the correction of the inherent intellectual disabilities. It is defined the conditions, principles, methods of application of interactive technologies and the attitude of students to reading literature. It is proved that interactive learning provides the formation and correction of the reader’s activity of mentally retarded pupils under condition of observance of the principles of correctional and educational, communicative and activity approaches in teaching that meets the basic principles of correctional training of the mentally retarded pupils. The experimental data obtained in the process of determining the index of satisfaction of learners from the lessons of literature confirmed the feasibility of application dialog. The main trends towards improvement of the library activities of the students by attracting them to the reading of modern fiction and non-informative literature and application of dialogue are learning.
