INTERCULTURAL COMPETENCE AS A REQUIRED CONDITION FOR DEVELOPMENT THE INNOVATION PROCESSES IN RUSSIAN LANGUAGE TRAINING

Abstract

The paper discusses the current questions of revision priorities and transition to the planning results of the language of competencies, of the methods of diagnosis and assessment of intercultural competence (ICC). It is noted that the competence is a dynamic combination of knowledge, skills, abilities and personal qualities which students must demonstrate after completion of the educational program. The issues of ICC development by means of learning environment based on the methods of diagnosis and evaluation is stated in detail that promotes active learning process of students, flexibility and the ability to selfdirected learning, and this, in turn, will help them with future employment in a competitive labor market. It is proved that the competence imparts the practice-oriented nature to the process of expert preparation, has a positive effect on the development of innovative processes in the field of vocational education, allows to devise the more accurate system for measuring the level of professional competence of the expert. The methodology of language relationship, communicative and intercultural competences and communicative personality determinants in the context of identifying competence, communicative behavior as an essential component of human culture is considered. The new approaches to the study of identity and parameters of the ICC are suggested. The cognitive, socio-linguistic, linguistics and country-specific studies for creation of ICC are outlined. Some models and paradigms of the Russian language teaching in the context of ICC are discussed.
