INTERDISCIPLINARIEDAD EN LA INVESTIGACIÓN: DE SU DISCUSIÓN CONCEPTUAL A SU IMPLEMENTACIÓN EN EL PROGRAMA MARCO DE INVESTIGACIÓN DE LA UNIÓN EUROPEA.

Abstract
En este artículo nos proponemos contribuir a la extensa literatura sobre inter y transdisciplinariedad, concentrándonos en la investigación como forma de producción del conocimiento. Hacemos un repaso sobre estos conceptos y nos referimos a las miradas que optan por una o otra. Abordamos la problemática de cómo medir su prevalencia a través de la cienciometría y constamos que, pese a las dificultades que persisten, este tipo de producción de conocimiento está creciendo. Luego examinamos en qué consiste y cómo se implementa la ID en el Programa Marco de Investigación de la Unión Europea, por ser el programa de investigación más grande del mundo. Encontramos que, a pesar de encomiarse y de proclamarse como forma preferente de producción de conocimiento, en este programa la ID sigue siendo marginal.
