Interethnic relationship in Tierra del Fuego: the role of the Salesian mission La Candelaria (1895-1912) in the resistance selk’nam

Abstract
The purpose of this work is to provide more information about the different kinds of native’s resistance, mainly the ways that resistance has acquired in Tierra del Fuego after the colonization. Moreover, the Selk’nam’s behaviour and strategies are studied as regards their missionary everyday life from La Calendaria (Río Grande) and its interaction with the Selesianos. Their behaviour is noticed according to the natives’ soil and use of the resources as the consequence of the pressure originated by the capitalism.
