INTERNATIONAL LEGAL PROTECTION OF HUMAN LIVES AT SEA

Abstract
In the article is analyzed international legal agreements in the sphere of ensuring the safety of navigation, among which the leading role is given to the aspects of protecting human life at sea. It is noted that international character of the using of the waters of world ocean, with the aim of navigating, provides the application of an international approach to the solution of the problem of ensuring the safety of navigation, and requires international legal regulation and improvement of legal rules which ensure the safety of navigation, which in turn promote, the development of international cooperation of the states.
