INTRODUCTION OF NEW INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES IN PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITY OF AGRONOMIST

Abstract
The purpose of this article is to consider the specifics of the introduction of information technologies in the professional activities of the agronomist, in particular, the possibility of using mobile technologies in accordance with the developed classification of available means, precision farming as a strategy for finding the best technologies, singling out the criteria for selecting information technologies and allocating the key aspects of implementation information technologies. The technologies of precision farming (global positioning systems, geographical information systems, yield monitor technologies, variable rate technology, remote sensing technology) is discussed more detail. Particular attention in the conditions of the rapid development of the mobile device market is given to mobile technologies, their classification according to the possibilities of use in agronomy (reference systems, calculators, measuring, recording and monitoring, simulators, integrated systems, digitized publications). On the way to the introduction of information technologies author lists the criteria for selecting information technologies in the professional activities of the agronomist (the functionality of information systems, the cost of their operation, the prospects for future use, technical characteristics, possible risks) and the main organizational directions of his activities (familiarization with international programs and grants, the need to take into account the experience of partners, competitors in professional communities, the constant monitoring of information web resources and online professional direction platforms, the need for continuous training of employees, attracting new professionals, professions and recourse to professional assistance in the agricultural consulting if necessary).
