Public procurement has an important role in the economy and security of any state.The public procurement market, therefore, directly or indirectly, influences state development and, eventually, the well-being of citizens.The European Community has defined Green Public Procurement as “a process by which public authorities try to purchase goods, services and works with a low environmental impact throughout their life cycle...”.
