PROBLEMS OF USING THE INTERNET NETWORK FOR PREVENTING CRIME AT THE INDIVIDUAL LEVEL

Abstract
The article explores the problems of using the Internet to prevent crime at the individual level. The analysis of foreign experience is carried out. Based on the studies conducted, such ways of using the Internet for crime prevention are defined: creation of audio and video files with information of a preventive nature; creation of appropriate blogs and organization of chat rooms in social networks; the use of the Internet of things to ensure the control of persons under house arrest, or sentenced to punishment in the form of restraint of liberty, etc. The adoption of a legislative act “On the use of the Internet for the prevention of crime” was proposed.
