INVESTIGATIONS OF THE PROCESS OF KINETIC FRICTION IN FRICTIONAL PAIRS CAST IRON–STEEL

Abstract
The paper presents tribological tests of the pair cast iron-steel. The structure of the test stand and measurement equipment is presented. The method of sample preparation and experiments are described. The original procedure has been applied in tests based on measurement of the torsion moment and the angle movement as the friction path and the pressure load on the sample. It made it possible to determine other parameters and characteristics of the friction process. Results and examples of friction characteristics are presented.<br/><br/>
