IT SUPPORT AND OPPORTUNITIES OF PROTECTION OF FUNDAMENTAL HUMAN RIGHTS IN SLOVAK CRIMINAL PROCEEDING
Journal Title: Науковий вісник Ужгородського національного університету. Серія: Право - Year 2017, Vol 43, Issue 2
Abstract
Evidence of serious crimes in the conditions of modern society, integrated Europe and the globalized world can not do without the use of modern and inappropriate, by nature, means that are used in a secret way. These means of secret surveillance are typical for police states, and not for states legal and democratic. The laws of states that allow such instruments to be used in a secret way against individuals, at the same time, must create sufficient guarantees for the protection of affected rights in the context of European and international standards and in the context of the requirements set by the ECtHR case-law.
