Judicial reform of 1864 and prosecutorial oversight of the investigation in modern Ukraine.

Abstract
The article deals with the development of prosecutors during the Judicial Reform of 1864. The status of the prosecutor in the Russian Empire and in modern Ukraine is compared. The mechanism of interaction between the prosecutor’s office and the investigating authorities is being investigated.
