КОНЦЕПТУАЛЬНИЙ ВИМІР ХУДОЖНЬОГО ТЕКСТУ У ІНТЕРПРЕТАТИВНІЙ ПАРАДИГМІ

Abstract
У статті розглядаються новітні дослідницькі підходи, розроблені в межах когнітивної парадигми, обґрунтовується можливість їхнього застосування до вивчення особливостей репрезентації структурованих знань в художньому тексті та аналізуються особливості текстової репрезентації знань у єдності мовного та концептуального аспектів через призму теорії моделі світу (ТМС). Авторка наголошує на важливості вивчення взаємозв’язків між різними моделями світу, наявними у текстовому просторі, доводить необхідність дослідження прагматичного навантаження мовних засобів, які репрезентують загальні та соціокультурні знання, об’єктивовані у тексті, й окреслює перспективи подальшого удосконалення методики інтерпретації художнього тексту, яка базується на когнітивно-прагматичних засадах, та враховує результати міждисциплінарних студій. The article discusses the advantages of cognitive research practices applied to the study of the ways to represent knowledge formats in the narrative text and presents an overview of approaches that study world models constructed within the textual continuum. Pragmatic and functional peculiarities of the linguistic means involved in objectivizing alternative worlds are viewed from the cognitive perspective with special emphasis on the analysis of correlations between language and thought. Cognitive linguists have designed a broad range of methods from different cognitive sciences in order to research language, conceptual systems, human cognition, and meaning construction. One of the effective approaches, worked out within the framework of the Text World Theory, facilitates the study of regularities of structured knowledge representation through the correlation of language, socio-cultural and conceptual aspects. The study of the interrelations between different world models that are present in the text continuum provides evidence for the relevance of pragmatic and functional analyses of linguistic means involved in the representation of general and socio-cultural knowledge in the narrative, and emphasises the necessity of further development of text interpretation methods based on the results of interdisciplinary studies. The complexity of interrelations between language and cognition is predetermined by the very nature of the entities that accumulate large amounts of knowledge. To interpret textual information adequately readers are to consider conceptual representations of possible worlds in the text continuum in accordance with conventional procedures and norms. Perceiving linguistic information communicants deal with it in a special way, conditioned by their expectations, beliefs, attitudes, prior knowledge, individual characteristics, emotions, context and backgrounds. Knowledge of the world is organised in sequences of prototypical dynamic events due to the nature of the represented entities, the fact that provides foundation and mechanisms for adequate understanding of socio- cultural peculiarities of human cognition. The focus on the abstract model encoded in the literary text facilitates comprehension and interpretation, the procedural skills acquired previously while experiencing and cognizing reality. Cognitive approach to the interpretation of textual meanings, that combines findings and results of interdisciplinary research, ensures adequate decoding of the information in the narrative. It aims at the study of a broad range of phenomena such as the nature of textual meaning, functions and meanings of language elements, the effect of context and pragmatics on the understanding of the verbally manifested knowledge structures.
