Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of manifestations of transnational organized crime in Ukraine in the field of vehicle abduction and smuggling. Some factors that determine the growth of this type of criminal activity in Eastern Europe are investigated. Attention is drawn to the fact that the nature and form of manifestation of transnational organized crime in Ukraine is largely due to its geographical location. Significant magnitude of the criminal activity of transnational criminal organizations for theft and smuggling of motor vehicles is a rather profitable type of activity characterized by speed of implementation, professional training and high latency
