LA DÉNOMINATION DES LANGUES DANS LE POURTOUR MÉDITERRANÉEN

Abstract
We suggest in this contribution unsettling how the languages are named in some countries which surround the Mediterranean Sea. The peculiarity of this geographical area is, not only, to look like at the same time countries which use Indo-European languages and others which use Semito-Hamitic languages, what supposes that we can see the way of calling the languages in two different linguistic families, but also countries where coexist several languages with different statuses, often single official language and other languages with not determined status. To answer this question, we collected a corpus of names of language given in French and that we described on the morphological plan and on the reference and semantic plan.
