LA INSOPORTABLE PESADEZ DEL SER...PROFESIONAL DE LA SALUD. ALIENACIÓN EN LOS TRABAJADORES DE LA SALUD PÚBLICA

Abstract
It analyzes the processes of change in the medical profession summarizable in the ideas of deskilling and proletarianization in light of the German theoretical tradition of alienation. The consequences of capitalist rationality are summarized in the passage of the craft to manufacture (cooperation within the hospital), the vertical and horizontal division of labor and growing influx of workers with “simplified functions” interchangeable (S. Krakauer) that affect the standards of autonomy and control (the work of others) of workers in public health. It also explores the complexity represented by the dual nature of the work as player of capitalist relations of production to restore the labor force and, simultaneously, as exploited and alienated workers (in discussion with the reading of burn-out) with forms of organization and struggle of the proletariat’s own tradition.
