Leczenie zgryzu otwartego szkieletowego u pacjentów w okresie wzrostu – obserwacje wstępne

Abstract
Wprowadzenie: leczenie pacjentów w okresie wzrostu ze zgryzem otwartym szkieletowym jest dużym wyzwaniem dla współczesnej ortodoncji.Cel pracy: ocena wstępnych wyników leczenia pacjentów w okresie wzrostu ze zgryzem otwartym szkieletowym z użyciem skojarzonego działania aparatu czynnościowego i wyciągu wysokiego.Materiał i metody: materiał stanowiło 6 pacjentów ze zgryzem otwartym szkieletowym, u których leczenie z zastosowaniem skojarzonego działania aparatu czynnościowego i wysokiego wyciągu zostało rozpoczęte przed lub w trakcie skoku pokwitaniowego. Ocena wyników leczenia polegała na porównaniu efektów klinicznych oraz analizy zdjęć cefalometrycznych.Wyniki: u wszystkich pacjentów nastąpiła poprawa warunków zgryzowych, które były wynikiem zmienionych relacji szkieletowych.Podsumowanie: wczesne rozpoznanie wady pozwala na wdrożenie leczenia polegającego na próbie modyfikacji niekorzystnego wzorca wzrostu,dziękiczemu można uzyskać poprawę warunków zgryzowych oraz korektę szkieletową w wymiarze pionowym.
