Legal confirmation of the subjective element of an internationally wrongful act: historical and legal research

Abstract
The article examines the stages of the work of the International Law Commission on the codification of norms of the international responsibility of states for internationally wrongful acts with the help of the historical and legal approach. The evolution of the notions of «imputation» and «attribution» has been investigated. The issues of the legal confirmation of the subjective element of an internationally wrongful act are highlighted.
